I was spending some time in the Las Vegas airport, waiting for a delayed flight. It was 115 degrees outside, and the airport’s A/C stopped working. Talk about some angry travelers. The line to the bar was 20 people deep. Everyone was red-faced and sweaty. There was a plane stuck on the tarmac full of passengers, with no A/C and no water. After two hours, they let the people deplane. I saw them all enter the airport. Some were on stretchers, some were crying. I was very relieved to finally get the heck outta there. I landed in cool breezy Seattle and sighed with relief.
